Rosneft Oil is a Russian public joint-stock company (PJSC) integrated energy company based in Moscow. Rosneft specializes in the exploration, extraction, production, refining, transport, sale of petroleum, natural gas, and petroleum products. Russian state-owned Rosneftegaz is the parent company. Its name is a portmanteau of the Russian words Rossiyskaya neft.
