About San Juan Province

San Juan is a province of the Dominican Republic. Established as Benefactor during the Age of Trujillo in 1938, it was renamed San Juan in 1961. The landlocked province is located in the west-central part of the country. It is the largest province in the country, bearing a size of 3,569 square kilometers.
