Sun Jun was a Chinese tunnel and underground structure engineer who served as president of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering from 1994 to 1998, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
