Glow raises $180M, valued at $1.2B
Glow Security has emerged from stealth with a $180 million Series A that values the company at $1.2 billion, backed by a consortium including Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, Redpoint, and others. The funding will fuel Glow Labs and accelerate the rollout of its AI-driven endpoint security platform designed to map, assess risk in real time, and enforce policies across employee devices amid a surge in AI tool adoption. The startup argues that traditional endpoint security isn’t prepared for AI-enabled threats, noting that AI usage on corporate devices has jumped from about 15% to over 45% in under a year and that attackers can exploit AI-powered tools to find and exploit vulnerabilities. Glow’s leadership, including CEO Roi Tiger and co-founders from Meta and Snowflake, position the product as a comprehensive, proactive solution for the entire endpoint market, not just AI-focused features, with plans to expand in the US and broaden its research arm Glow Labs. The round cements Glow’s unicorn status as it competes in a crowded $40 billion endpoint security market against incumbents like CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, while stressing the need to balance rapid AI adoption with robust security controls. Glow aims to help security teams preempt threats on endpoints by leveraging AI agents and a reasoning engine that dynamically permits or blocks software based on risk in real time.
