Nestlé India Q1 FY27 Profit Surges 48%
Nestlé India reported a robust first-quarter performance with PAT at ₹958.7 crore, up about 48% year-on-year, and revenue at ₹6,378 crore, up around 25%. However, both profit and revenue declined sequentially from the March quarter, by approximately 13.7% and 5.5% respectively. Growth was broad-based across all four product groups, led by strong demand for Maggi, KitKat and Nescafe, with sustained double-digit expansion aided by premiumization, e-commerce, and wider distribution. The company highlighted ongoing investments in premium coffee initiatives, rural distribution expansion, and rising exports, which helped secure 4-Star Export House status. EBITDA margin stood at about 24.2%, with advertising and brand investment rising more than 40% during the period. Investors reacted positively to the results, with share price movements reflecting the stronger-than-expected quarterly performance.
