Paladin guides 5.1–5.6 mn lb Langer Heinrich FY2027
Paladin Energy has issued FY2027 guidance for its Langer Heinrich Mine in Namibia, projecting production of 5.1–5.6 million pounds of U3O8 and costs of US$44–48 per pound, with quarterly production variability due to planned maintenance. The company announced that ramp-up is complete, establishing a base for reliable uranium deliveries to utilities worldwide and a pathway to steadier production in the coming year. First-half output is expected to be softer because of maintenance, with stronger production anticipated in the second half as higher-grade ore feeds the plant. Paladin plans ongoing mining and processing optimizations, including tailings facility work, process improvements, and infill drilling, funded by a FY2027 capex of about US$29–35 million. The company aims to leverage its contract book to capture higher spot prices and intends to repay part of its uranium product loan, noting 400,000 pounds outstanding as of mid-2026. Paladin also continues to pursue value across its portfolio, including the Patterson Lake South project in Canada and the Atlas discovery, positioning itself to support global nuclear energy expansion.
