The board approved a first interim dividend of ₹5 per share for FY27 and authorized a ₹250 crore capex to set up a 25,000 MTPA BOPET Thick Film production line to enhance diversification and reduce cyclicality, with commissioning expected within 24 months. The capex will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals, and this strategic expansion targets industrial and electronic end-use markets. Despite the quarterly strength, SRF’s shares moved lower in intraday trade following the results release.
