The site covers a 1,979-hectare area across five zones, highlighting a complete pre-industrial production landscape from mining and materials to firing and distribution. Notable features include a 10-kilometer stone vein, a riverside fuel transport network, and kiln districts that operated for nine centuries, all underpinning Jingdezhen’s integrated production system. The inscription emphasizes the evolution of porcelain technology and artistry as a global conduit for cultural exchange, preserving the full production chain beyond finished wares.
