Carson Kvapil finally earned his first NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, passing Ross Chastain and holding off teammate Justin Allgaier to seal the Pennzoil 250. The victory came in Kvapil’s 64th career start and delivered JR Motorsports a historic 1-2-3-4 sweep in the race. The race featured Kvapil leading Chastain for much of the final stage before capitalizing on lapped traffic and maintaining a small lead as Allgaier could not mount a sustained challenge, with Chase Elliott finishing fourth and Chastain leading a race-high 31 laps. JR Motorsports’ podium lockout and Kvapil’s breakthrough reshaped the playoff picture as Allgaier clinched the regular-season championship and Kvapil moved into the playoff picture with two races remaining.
