Marlins reach $1 million pre-agreement with Robinson Cano's son
The Miami Marlins have reportedly reached a $1 million pre-agreement with 16-year-old infielder Robinson Cano Jr., son of eight-time MLB All-Star Robinson Cano. He is expected to join Miami’s 2028 international signing class, but the agreement is not yet an official signing and cannot be finalized until he is eligible under MLB rules. Cano Jr. has played in Mexico’s professional league, though his development and eventual major-league potential remain uncertain.
