PGA Tour Rules Out Further LIV Player Returns
PGA Tour Commissioner Brian Rolapp said the circuit is not considering another returning-member program for players who left for LIV Golf, citing accountability and discipline as core principles. Brooks Koepka used a limited-time program in January to return, but forfeited an estimated $50 million to $85 million in potential PGA Tour equity. LIV Golf’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy has cast uncertainty over the futures of prominent players including Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau, each listed as an unsecured creditor owed more than $5 million. The Saudi Public Investment Fund, which owns LIV, plans to halt funding after the 2026 season, while LIV is seeking to emerge from bankruptcy by early 2027.
