Dream Say Game 6 Will Be at Gateway Unless Schedule Changes
The WNBA Finals are tied 2-2 between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries, guaranteeing Game 6 in Atlanta on Thursday, Oct. 29. The Dream say Game 6 will be played at Gateway Center Arena unless a change is approved. State Farm Arena hosted Games 3 and 4 with large crowds and holds more than 17,000 fans, but is booked for an Atlanta Hawks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Gateway Center Arena holds about 3,500 fans. The teams, WNBA, NBA and Hawks are considering schedule changes, including moving Game 6 and potentially Game 7. Those options raise logistical concerns and reportedly require both teams' agreement. If no change is approved, the Dream say Game 6 will be at Gateway Center Arena.
