Wisconsin Family's World Series Sausage Race Goes Viral

The Milwaukee Brewers won their first World Series championship, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5 and ending a wait that stretched back to their 1982 World Series appearance. Fans across Milwaukee and Wisconsin celebrated, with packed watch parties and a rush to buy championship merchandise. Manager Pat Murphy congratulated former Yankee Jake Bauers and criticized the Yankees, saying their players had been “playing for yourself.” Milwaukee will celebrate with a downtown parade at 10 a.m. Friday, followed by a rally and fan festival at Henry Maier Festival Park; general admission is free until capacity is reached.
