Cigna Raises 2026 EPS Outlook After Q3 Beat
Cigna reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $7.98 per share and revenue of about $73.7 billion, beating analyst estimates and extending its streak of earnings beats to five quarters. Growth in Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth’s Specialty and Care Services helped offset lower income in Pharmacy Benefit Services, which the company linked to large client contract renewals. GAAP profit declined from a year earlier, partly because the prior-year quarter included a gain that did not recur. Cigna raised its 2026 adjusted earnings outlook to at least $30.60 per share and cited its cost-cutting and productivity initiative as part of its longer-term growth strategy.
