Nintendo’s net profit rose 11% to ¥220.9 billion in the six months through September, even as revenue fell about 12% to ¥966 billion. Stronger software sales, a greater share of higher-margin games, digital revenue growth and a refund of U.S. tariffs helped lift operating profit, offsetting weaker hardware sales. Nintendo sold 6.49 million Switch 2 consoles and 1.27 million original Switch consoles; the company said software releases and continued demand for existing games supported sales. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie also boosted revenue from Nintendo’s intellectual-property businesses. Nintendo kept its full-year forecast unchanged, projecting ¥310 billion in net profit and ¥2.05 trillion in revenue through March 2027.

The tariff refund helped a lot this half but I wonder how sustainable these numbers really are going forward.
Software is keeping profits afloat for now but weaker hardware sales could hurt later if they don't pick up.
