Blaming climate change is easy but deforestation and unplanned construction in flood-prone areas made this worse too. Multiple factors at play here.
$5 billion is a staggering number for a country with Nepal's economy. Rebuilding infrastructure that can withstand future floods needs to be the priority, not just repairs.
