Iranian Media Link Qeshm Sounds to Warning Shots

Iranian media reported loud, explosion-like sounds from the sea near Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday night, but said there were no reports of impacts or explosions on the island. State media said similar sounds on previous nights were typically attributed to warning shots fired at vessels in the strait; the cause of the latest noises was not independently confirmed.
