Utah Jazz forwards Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. both left Monday’s game against Memphis with injuries and did not return. Markkanen hurt his right wrist in the first quarter and finished with two points in six minutes; Jackson injured his right knee in the second quarter, leaving with six points, three rebounds and two assists. Markkanen’s availability for Utah’s next game against San Antonio is uncertain, and Kyle Filipowski, Ace Bailey and Brice Sensabaugh could see more playing time if he misses time.

Losing Markkanen to a wrist injury and Jackson to his knee in the same half leaves Utah thin up front.
