Russian Strikes Kill One, Injure Six Across Ukraine
Russian forces struck settlements across Ukraine, including 17 attacks in the Donetsk region that wounded at least one person and damaged homes, high-rise buildings, a store and industrial facilities. Authorities said 915 people, including 136 children, were evacuated from front-line areas in Donetsk. A separate Russian attack on Odesa on Sept. 4 killed one person and injured several others, with local reports citing as many as five wounded, including a child. The strikes damaged apartments in a nine-story building, other residential and nonresidential structures, and 28 parked cars; emergency crews extinguished fires and assisted residents.
