UCF ends 12-game road skid, beats Kansas 33-32

UCF stunned Kansas 33-32 on a last-second touchdown and extra point, snapping the Knights’ 12-game road losing streak. After trailing 26-7, Kansas scored 25 unanswered points to take a 32-26 lead with just over a minute left. UCF quarterback Alonza Barnett III led a late 73-yard drive; an apparent go-ahead touchdown to Waden Charles was overturned on review, but Barnett found Caden Piening at the pylon on the final play, and officials upheld the score after another review. Barnett threw for 251 yards and two touchdowns, while Josh Derry had 143 receiving yards. UCF is 5-4 and needs one win in its final three games to become bowl-eligible; Kansas fell to 3-6, leaving its bowl hopes dependent on winning its last three.
