Brad Lander Wins New York’s 10th District
Democrat Brad Lander won New York’s 10th Congressional District, defeating Republican Jennifer Moore by a wide margin and keeping the Brooklyn- and Manhattan-based seat in Democratic hands. Lander, a former New York City comptroller, had secured the nomination by defeating two-term incumbent Rep. Daniel Goldman in the Democratic primary. That contest centered in part on Israel: Lander criticized Goldman’s support for Israel and opposed sending it additional aid, positioning himself to Goldman’s left.
