Michael Harris II records third four-hit game in Braves win
Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II broke out with four hits, including a three-run homer, in a 12-2 win over the Phillies. The performance marked his third four-hit game of the season and helped end a difficult start to September, while bringing his season totals to 25 home runs and 83 RBIs. Separately, the San Diego Padres are giving newcomer Dustin Harris an opportunity in the No. 2 spot after Luis Rengifo’s season-ending injury, with Harris batting .355 since his Aug. 24 call-up. Harris also delivered a two-run single in a game against the Padres’ opponent, as San Diego entered the matchup on a five-game winning streak and holding the National League’s third wild-card position.
