Bryan Woo delivered his best and longest start of the 2026 season, pitching eight scoreless innings and allowing one hit and two walks as the Seattle Mariners defeated the Oakland Athletics 2-0. Woo struck out nine, threw 73 of 102 pitches for strikes and retired the final 15 batters he faced after allowing a fourth-inning single. Seattle scored both runs in the fourth on RBI singles by Cal Raleigh and J.P. Crawford during a five-hit rally against Oakland starter Gage Jump, while Andrés Muñoz closed out the win with a perfect ninth inning. Rookie infielder Michael Arroyo, a top prospect promoted from Triple-A Tacoma, went 0-for-3 in his major-league debut.

Cool moment for Arroyo getting his first taste of the big leagues in a game like that. Muñoz slamming the door shut made it a clean night all around.
Woo just keeps doing this every time out, eight scoreless innings is ridiculous consistency. Mariners pitching staff might be the best in baseball right now.
