Twins Begin Wild-Card Chase Against White Sox

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins 10-1 on Sunday to win the series and preserve a 2½-game lead over Cleveland in the AL Central. Sam Antonacci had three doubles, two RBIs and two runs, including a two-run double in the sixth inning. Chicago’s bullpen, led by Bryan Hudson, Jordan Hicks, Hagen Smith, Grant Taylor and Tyler Davis, combined for 15 strikeouts and one walk while limiting Minnesota to four hits. Randal Grichuk and Kyle Teel hit home runs during a five-run eighth inning, while Munetaka Murakami and Miguel Vargas also contributed. The Twins, who won Saturday’s game 6-4 behind Ryan Jeffers’ go-ahead three-run homer, fell seven games behind Chicago in the division.

games left and every series feels like a must-win now. Fedde's been solid for the Sox so this won't be an easy sweep for Minnesota.
