Florida suspends DT Jeramiah McCloud for conduct detrimental to team

Florida suspended starting defensive tackle Jeramiah McCloud for its game against Oklahoma for conduct detrimental to the team, with his status to be reassessed after the contest. McCloud has 22 tackles this season, and his absence thins the Gators’ defensive-line rotation. Florida also listed right tackle Emeka Ugorji, linebacker Jaden Robinson and tight end Evan Chieca as out; receiver Vernell Brown III was doubtful, while receiver Bailey Stockton and defensive lineman Emmanuel Oyebadejo were questionable.
